My background is in financial services, where I worked for many years helping individuals and families understand their options, assess risk, and make decisions they were comfortable living with over time. That experience shaped how I approach mortgage guidance today.

 

I’ve learned that most people don’t struggle because they lack information. They struggle because decisions are rushed, pressured, or framed without enough context. My role is to slow the process down just enough to ensure mortgage decisions are made deliberately, not reactively.

 

I take a calm, practical approach to mortgage work. That means clear explanations, realistic expectations, and no urgency unless it’s truly necessary. I don’t upsell, and I don’t believe good decisions come from pressure.

For clients in or near retirement, I may also introduce an optional framework I call Retire Right, which helps place mortgage decisions in the context of income stability, housing needs, and access to home equity. This approach is only used when relevant and is never required.
